Every couple has a first—and for us, Thailand in 2022 marked our first international tour together. It wasn’t just about visiting a new country; it was about discovering the joy of traveling side by side, planning days together, getting lost together, and creating memories that would stay with us forever.
Our journey took us across some of Thailand’s most iconic destinations—Pattaya, Phuket, Phi Phi Island, and Bangkok—each offering something unique and unforgettable.
Pattaya: A Gentle Start to Our Journey
We began our trip with one night in Pattaya, easing ourselves into the rhythm of Thailand. It was relaxed and lively at the same time—a perfect starting point for our first international adventure as a couple.
That first night felt special. Everything was new—the streets, the food, the energy—and more importantly, the feeling that we were finally traveling together beyond borders.
Phuket: Beaches, Nights, and Endless Smiles
From Pattaya, we headed to Phuket, where we spent four unforgettable nights.
Phuket quickly became one of our favorite parts of the trip. We spent our days relaxing at Patong Beach, enjoying the sea breeze, long walks by the shore, and quiet moments watching the waves.
Evenings belonged to Bangla Road—colorful, energetic, and full of life. Music, lights, laughter, and people from all over the world made every night feel alive. We didn’t rush; we simply enjoyed being there together.
Phi Phi Island: A Night in Paradise
We then spent one magical night in Phi Phi Island—a place that truly feels like a postcard come to life.
Crystal-clear water, towering limestone cliffs, and peaceful surroundings made Phi Phi feel unreal. Spending the night there allowed us to experience the island beyond day tours—calm evenings, quiet walks, and moments where time seemed to slow down.
Phi Phi was less about activities and more about being present.
Bangkok: Shopping, Skylines, and City Lights
We ended our journey with two nights in Bangkok, a city full of contrast and energy.
Bangkok was all about:
- Shopping—from massive malls to local finds
- Walking along elevated skywalks, watching the city move below
- A relaxing river cruise, enjoying the skyline glowing at night
Unlike the beaches, Bangkok felt fast, vibrant, and exciting. We explored at our own pace, enjoying the freedom of city life together.
Looking Back: Why Thailand 2022 Will Always Be Special
Thailand 2022 wasn’t just a vacation.
It was our first international chapter as a couple.
It taught us how beautifully we travel together—balancing excitement and calm, plans and spontaneity. From beach sunsets to city lights, from quiet island nights to lively streets, every moment felt complete because we were sharing it.
